Our Investiture service will take place on Friday 29th & Saturday 30th November at St George’s Cathedral in Southwark.

On Sunday 1st December we will hold a Mass of Celebration at Westminster Cathedral.

We are privileged to have in attendance, at all three services, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.

Vigil at Arms – Friday 29th November 2024 at 7:00pm – St George’s Cathedral, Southwark

His Beatitude Cardinal Pizzaballa will attend the Investiture Vigil at Arms with Benediction at St George’s Cathedral, Southwark. Archbishop John Wilson KC*HS, Archbishop of Southwark and the Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy of England and Wales, will preside and preach at the vigil.

Investiture Mass – Saturday 30th November 2024 at 9:45am – St George’s Cathedral, Southwark

The Lieutenancy, established in 1954, will celebrate a Mass of Investiture for new Knights and Dames in St George’s Cathedral on Saturday, 30 November. Patriarch Pizzaballa will preside and preach at the Mass.

Mass of Celebration – Sunday 1st December 2024 at 12:00pm – Westminster Cathedral

The Latin Patriarch will preach at a Solemn Mass for the First Sunday of Advent at Westminster Cathedral. Cardinal Vincent Nichols, President of the Bishops’ Conference, will preside.
